A Visual Ode to Light and Transience

This photographic series, created during a collaborative journey to Deià, Mallorca, captures the poetic interplay of golden light, shifting shadows, and fleeting summer rain. Through a blend of still life, landscape, and portraiture, photographer Jasmin Breidenbach explores themes of transience, vulnerability, and the enduring beauty of the moment. The work reflects a deep connection to place and the timeless narratives found in nature and human presence.

Developed in collaboration with Jules & Mel and Studio Ato, and guided by creative direction from Mona Shatry, the project used sunglasses from Jules & Mel as both subject and artistic lens—offering a unique visual perspective on the journey. In November 2024, the series was exhibited in the Jules & Mel store in celebration of their anniversary, transforming the space into a visual dialogue between product, place, and storytelling. This collaboration was a celebration of creativity, trust, and shared vision.
