“It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson
Jasmin Breidenbach is a photographer with German-Moroccan roots and currently based in Munich.
She got her first camera at the age of three, which had a Micky Mouse design and produced soap bubbles instead of pictures. But since then she developed her love for photography and used it as a tool to capture her love for life and everything that surrounds her. After finishing her first bachelor degree in science of media, she felt the strong wish to make her passion her profession. So she started working as an assistant for different photographers in 2014 and is studying Photodesign at the Hochschule München since 2015.
Jasmin has a strong belief that every single person is beautiful in their own natural and unique way, without a lot of retouch needed. At the same time, she has a look for the beauty in small things and the magic in the glimpse of a moment. The most important thing for her to get those kind of pictures, is to look at the world and the people in front of the camera with an open eye, open heart and open mind.
