Jasmin Breidenbach is a photographer, videographer and visual storyteller, currently based in Munich, passionate about feminism, diversity and connection.

Jasmin Breidenbach (born 1989 in Germany) is a German-Moroccan photo and video artist based in Munich. She holds a B.A. in Photo Design from Munich University of Applied Sciences and is currently training as an art therapist at the Freie Akademie München. She is also a member of the Female Photoclub, a nationwide network of female photographers.

Her artistic practice explores sustainability, feminism, and diversity. Through her images, she seeks to foster a sense of connection, inspire dialogue, and empower women.

An example of this approach is the project “Live with Love. Promise,” which portrays the lives of women in a spiritual community in India and was awarded the German Photobook Prize.

With “Endometriosis – The Chameleon in My Belly,” she addresses the chronic illness endometriosis. The work has been exhibited multiple times and featured in various media outlets. The photographs provide affected women with a way to visualize their invisible suffering and make their experiences emotionally tangible.

Her recent project “The Place Between Us” portrays Ilham and Sapir, two women with roots in Palestine, Israel, and North Africa who grew up in Germany. Their friendship reflects the complexity of identity and embodies empathy and dialogue amid political and social tensions. The series was shown as a solo exhibition at the Munich Forum for Islam in collaboration with the Jewish-Muslim Ausarten Festival, as well as in the group exhibition “Common Ground” organized by the Female Photoclub at Bahnwärter Thiel in Munich.

In addition to her personal projects, Breidenbach works professionally in portrait, reportage, and branding photography. Her visual language is defined by a sensitive, authentic aesthetic that captures the essence of her subjects and creates a deeper connection between viewer and portrayed.
